Dancing On Ice - Zaraah Abrahams is no factory girl
28 January 2008 - Ex-Weatherfield resident Zaraah Abrahams said she felt great debuting on the ice this weekend.
The actress, who has replaced injured Michael Underwood, told the Sun she was "up to scratch" on her training and enjoyed her first foray on to the rink.
However, Zaraah added that while she was having fun so far, it was a shame she had to replace Michael.
"I wish I hadn't got my chance just because of Michael's injury," she said. "It'd have been nice to see him here too."
Fans will know that Michael pulled out of Dancing On Ice due to a nasty broken ankle, but Zaraah, 20, has been training since November as a stand-in.
She is probably best known for her role in Coronation Street as factory worker Joanna Jackson, although she now stars in BBC drama Waterloo Road.
In related Dancing On Ice gossip, it was suggested today that Robbie Williams sent Samantha Mumba flowers during her time on the show.
According to Fametastic citing the People, Robbie gifted two bouquets to Samantha with private messages. The two are said to have dated four years ago.
