BB Brian to recite Shakespeare
Big Brother winner Brian Belo is set to read from Shakespeare's works on a new series of podcasts.
On the show, the 20-year-old was revealed to be unaware of who the playwright was, memorably asking: "Romeo and Juliet? Ain't Romeo in the So Solid Crew?"
However, the potentially embarrassing moment seems to have paid off for Essex boy Brian, as Borders book chain have asked him to read explanations of Shakespeare's classic plays in clips which can then be downloaded.
Entitled Shakespeare Made Simple, the podcasts are aimed at young people who identify with the Big Brother housemates.
"Getting him on board could be the perfect way to get a new generation into Shakespeare," said Borders spokesperson David Kohn.
On the show, Brian was asked to identify which work was not written by Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet, Taming of the Shrew or Babe.
"I don't know who this geezer is, who's meant to have written or directed these things. I think it's Babe - they talk normal in that," he replied.
In other Big Brother news, finalist Carole Vincent recently signed on the dole, saying she was "skint".
