Grease girls hit out at 'fix' claims
The remaining girls on ITV talent show Grease Is The Word have rubbished claims from rejected singer Alison Crawford that the show is fixed.
Susan McFadden and Michelle Antrobus are the only girls left fighting for the role of Sandy in a West End revival of classic musical Grease.
But the pair were shocked by former contestant Alison's attack on the show's judges after she was voted off.
Alison claimed the panel of David Ian, David Gest, Sinitta and Brian Friedman were trying to manipulate the public's opinion to ensure that their favourites got through to the final.
"I think the judges have had an agenda from day one," she said.
"They've known all along who they wanted for the parts regardless of how anyone else performed. All the contestants know it."
Her claims were backed by fellow reject Vicky Hoyles who said: "The judges will definitely try and influence the vote so Susan and Danny win."
But such allegations were not appreciated by the two girls who made it through to the last round.
A show insider told the Daily Mirror: "Susan and Michelle are extremely upset that someone they thought was a friend could do this to them.
"They have both worked so hard on this journey and feel they have earned their places in Saturday's final fair and square.
"For Alison to come out and say what she has completely belittles their achievements."
