Spice Girls - Are planning to run a mile

16 January 2008 - The Spice Girls help launch Sport Relief 2008

Victoria, Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C took time out this week to launch Sport Relief 2008. The girls are currently performing at the London O2 Arena but thought they had to back such a worthwhile cause.

In a series of photos the Spice Girls show how you can look good and get ready for Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile at the same time. All the girls wore the official Sports Relief t-shirts and Mel C even wore a Sports Relief sock as a glove!

Mel told OK! magazine, "Signing up to do a mile for Sport Relief is such an easy thing to do especially after the post Christmas excesses."

The Spice Girls believe that "Whether you're young or old, fit or unfit, most people can do a mile in one way or another and help poor and vulnerable people in the process."
