Liz Hurley's shopping anger at uncool staff

15 Septmeber 2007 - Liz Hurley hates shopping in London because shop staff gawp at her and are not "cool" enough to serve a celebrity.

The 'Bedazzled' actress had to cut short a trip to Kensington health food store Whole Foods because the star-struck assistants were "bugging" her.

She wrote in Spear's magazine - which describes itself as only for the super-rich: "I went to the new health food emporium Whole Foods in Kensington. When I lived in Los Angeles, I used to shop at its counterpart every day. This one could be equally good, but I wish the management would train some of its employees to be cooler.

"I was stared at and bugged by too many of the assistants and felt so uncomfortable, I left the shop only half done."

Hurley - who once famously referred to non-celebrities as "civilians" - has previously admitted she only likes to socialise with fellow stars.

She said: "In the end, famous people only ever end up hanging out with other famous people or in private places because it's just too exhausting to be stared at and bothered the whole time."
