George Clooney's alcohol courage

16 October 2007 - George Clooney used to be useless with women until he discovered alcohol.

The 'Michael Clayton' star - who is regularly voted the world's sexiest man - only developed his confidence with the opposite sex when he started partying.

He said: "I was very awkward with the opposite sex when I was younger. I think every kid is for a long period of time.

"The only time it changes is when alcohol comes into play, that's what happened with me.

"Alcohol helps a lot with women, it smoothes things over."

It was recently revealed George is using a 'Liberator Sex Ramp' to aid lovemaking after being injured in a motorbike crash.

The Hollywood heartthrob and girlfriend Sarah Larson appeared to need a little extra help in the bedroom after Clooney was photographed leaving his New York townhouse carrying the purple sloped sex cushion.

A source said: "George is suffering a little from his fractured rib and Sarah has her leg in plaster because of her broken toe so they've bought something to make having sex a little more comfortable."
