Calum full of praise for Lindsay

Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan has been praised as a "fantastic girl" by her new beau Calum Best.

Better known as the son of football legend George Best, Calum was giddy with admiration for the 20-year-old Mean Girls actress who he recently began dating.

"It's early days, but it's going real great," he said.

"She's a fantastic girl, so watch this space."

Calum flew out to New York to be Lindsay's date at the premiere of her new film Georgia Rule earlier this month, but since then the pair have spent little time apart.

"After that [the premiere], we headed to Paradise Island in the Bahamas to chill out away from it all and it's going well," said the model, reality TV star and serial womaniser.

Calum added that he felt the time had come for him to settle down after being "young, free and single and sowing my oats since I was 15 years old".

However, this follows reports earlier this week which threw doubt on the couple's relationship.

The Mirror claimed that the couple had a row at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York after Calum snogged both a "mystery babe" and a "foxy female" behind Lindsay's back.
