Beckhams bed down to promote perfume
10 September 2007 - David and Victoria Beckham have teamed up for a steamy photo shoot to promote their new perfume.
The parents-of-three are pictured in bed together, under clean white sheets, to launch their new scent, Intimately Beckham Night.
It is a perfume which was created by Coty, the French brand which also came up with scents for Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss.
The ad campaign, in which the LA Galaxy footballer and his pop singer wife caress each other, was photographed by Terry Richardson.
"Not many people see this side of us and I think that's what's great about having a fragrance like this. It's a way of us showing our dark side," David told The Mail on Sunday's You magazine.
Victoria added: "I would go to the factory in Barcelona and work with the perfumers. David loved it because he got all these little sample bottles."
She remarked that she and her husband are "very intimate".
David's ex-manager Sir Alex Ferguson recently expressed his feelings about the former England captain's marriage to Posh Spice, saying he "was never a problem until he got married".
He added that the 32-year-old's celebrity persona seems to have eclipsed his early talent at football.
