Victoria Beckham to design Mel B's costumes
27 September 2007 - Victoria Beckham is reportedly lined up to design costumes for pal Mel B to wear on US TV show Dancing With the Stars.
The American version of Strictly Come Dancing features Mel showing off her moves, including a recent popular performance of the cha-cha.
She and her partner, Ukranian-born ballroom dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, managed to wow judges, the Daily Mail reports.
And now fellow Spice Girl Victoria will be helping the 32-year-old mum-of-two look her best as she tries to win the programme.
Mel told US TV show Access Hollywood: "Victoria is gonna come to one of the shows. She is excited. She said, 'I have to design your costumes.' We're sorting that out at the moment, as I'm very keen for Vic to put her stamp on my costumes.
"Everybody knows she has amazing style - just look at all the different dresses and looks she pulls off and the trends she starts."
She added that the two are planning to "throw about some ideas" very soon.
Meanwhile, Victoria's husband David recently flew home from LA to the UK after his father, Ted, suffered a near-fatal heart attack.
The 59-year-old is currently recovering in a London hospital.
