X Factor - Same Difference talk songs, the new single and X Factor
3 January 2008 - Sarah and Sean Smith revealed all to their fans on a digital spy forum yesterday (2.1.08).
Fans of the band were able to ask any questions they wanted....
SD before X Factor
"We have always loved cheesy music because whenever those songs come on at discos they are the best floor fillers but generally we used to sing songs that are a little bit more serious from the 50's till now... although we do love the songs that we were given by Simon to sing on the show!"
The New Single
"We havent yet decided what song we will be recording yet. We would both like to record one of our favourites from the show or an original. It has to be one that makes people smile though. if all goes well with the single we hope they will make an album... fingers crossed!! We both like to write songs so we may have an input but we aren't sure as yet."
Fantasy Duet
Sean: "Girls aloud...how fit and they are lovely."
Sarah: "Mcfly... I actually love them."
Favourite X Factor song
"We both loved performing Breaking Free because it was the song that really put us into the competition! But for personal reasons we loved Never had a dream come true. To be fair we did love all of them though! Apart from the lameness that was Blame it on the Boogie (it was changed last min and we sucked!!)"
Song you wanted to sing on X Factor but didn't
"We asked many times to sing Don't Stop Moving by S Club also we wanted to sing Something inside So Strong because it has good harmonies and suits our voices! Simon thought it wasnt suited to the show though! We also wanted to do What Ive Been Looking For from High School Musical.
