Dancing on Ice - Gareth Gates gives X Factor winner Leon Jackson some advice
14 January 2008 - Celebrity skater Gareth Gates has given Leon Jackson some advice.
Gareth Gates is best known for being the runner up in Pop Idol. He has sold millions of records but was dropped by his record label after his second album failed to impress. He has warned Leon Jackson not to be "crafted and moulded" by his record label.
Gareth told Digital Spy:
"I haven't met Leon yet. He seems a nice guy with a nice voice."
His advice for Leon was:
"You can be crafted and moulded into the artist that the record company wants to become, but if you really want to be happy in this industry, you have to be yourself and do what you want."
