X Factor - Rhydian Roberts' Same Difference romance
11 December 2007 - 'The X Factor' contestants Rhydian Roberts and Same Difference's Sarah Smith are rumoured to be secretly dating.
The rival singers have reportedly become "inseparable" during their time together on the ITV reality show, and have frequently been spotted enjoying "intimate cuddles".
A show insider told Britain's The People newspaper: "It's obvious to everyone there that Sarah has strong feelings for Rhydian and he looks to have feelings for her too.
"The two of them are so sweet together, it's rather sickening. They are always cuddling intimately and sharing private conversations in the house."
Sarah, 18, is already believed to be in a long-term relationship, but has fallen for 25-year-old Welsh singer Rhydian, who she admits to finding "sexy".
She told one friend: "He is so charming and we share so many passions. We were drawn together by our love of God."
Rhydian has described his perfect woman as "small, petite and blonde", a close description of Sarah.
But the budding romance has reportedly upset Sarah's brother Sean, who she duets with on the show.
A source said: "He thinks she could fall in love and jeopardise their chances of winning."
Meanwhile, Welsh opera beauty Katherine Jenkins has been lined up to perform with Rhydian at the live final on Saturday (15.12.07).
He said: "She is amazing, it would be an absolute dream."
The final will see favourite Rhydian battle against Same Difference and 18-year-old Leon Jackson after Niki Evans was voted off the show last Saturday (08.12.07).
