X Factor - Dannii Minogue not feeling festive

17 December 2007 - Dannii Minogue showed little Christmas cheer this week when given a gift by Louis Walsh, according to a source.

The Australian singer, who mentored X Factor winner Leon Jackson, was apparently rather ungrateful when it came to present-buying backstage.

The Mirror quoted a source who said that while Louis carefully chose gifts for each of his fellow judges, Dannii barely batted an eyelid when he climbed down the proverbial chimney to give her a present.

"When he knocked on Dannii's dressing room door, she barely opened it, stuck her arm out, took the present and shut the door again," it was reported. "Louis was staggered."

In addition to being a festive humbug, Dannii did not buy a little something for Louis in return even though he went to "great lengths" to make sure she had a parcel to open.

Meanwhile, another judge who might avoid sending Dannii a Christmas card is Sharon Osbourne, who last week appeared on Graham Norton's chat show to voice her opinions on her fellow panelist.

"She's there because of her looks, not because of her contribution to the music industry," Sharon commented.
