I'm a Celebrity - Rodney Marsh calls Lynne Franks a fraud

27 November 2007 - Lynne Franks is a total fraud with a superiority complex, according to ex-jungle camper Rodney Marsh.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, ex-footballer Rodney let rip about his fellow I'm a Celebrity cast mates, with a hefty amount of vitriol reserved for Lynne.

Although she wants to come across as compassionate, meditative and calm, she is actually patronising and false, he said.

"I despise everything Lynne Franks stands for," Rodney ranted. "For somebody to spout about being at one with the world, she's a fraud & she was patronising, condescending and she talked over me twice."

While viewers may be expecting conflict in camp, it seems that the outside world is the place most jungle-mates are having a go.

In addition to his comments about PR guru Lynne, Rodney called Michelin-starred chef John Burton-Race "the Basil Fawlty of cooking" and labelled singer Cerys Matthews a "dingbat".

Upon his eviction, John admitted to the Sun that he had ogled Katie Hopkins but said her six-pack and chiselled physique were not really his thing.
