Big Brother Celebrity Hijack - Jade Goody refuses to watch the show
25 January 2008 - Controversial ex-Big Brother winner Jade Goody said she hasn't watched one minute of the latest series.
According to the Daily Star, Jade pronounced that the show "is over" and that she is done with the entire franchise.
Last year, her much-publicised controversy with housemate Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother made international headlines.
"But it's funny isn't it, a year ago people were shouting 'get Jade out'. Now they're shouting 'get Jade in'. So I have to say thank you but no, it's not for me," she said.
The newspaper reported that it had received a "save our show" plea from Big Brother fans, urging producers to send Jade into the Big Brother Celebrity Hijack house.
She is not the only ex-Big Brother contestant to slag off the show to the press.
Earlier this week, Big Brother 7 winner Pete Bennett said he has also gone off the show, due in part to Jade's antics on last year's series.
Celebrity hijackers on the current series of Big Brother have included American comediennes Roseanne Barr and Joan Rivers, as well as the actresses who play the McQueen sisters on Hollyoaks, members of girl group
All Saints and Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles.
