28 November 2007 - Jade Goody wants to marry Jack Tweed live on television.

The disgraced 'Celebrity Big Brother' star - who stunned fans when she became embroiled in a racist row with Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on the reality show earlier this year - is planning to follow in the footsteps of glamour model Jodie Marsh by tying the knot on television.

But mother-of-two Jade has so far failed to convince various broadcasters to screen the wedding.

A source close to the 26-year-old star told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Jade is up for this being her latest foray into reality TV. But she has struggled this year ever since her big 'Celebrity Big Brother' debacle. Being caught up in the race row has sent her career into freefall."

It had been reported that the couple - who got back together last month after a brief split following Jade's miscarriage earlier this year - were planning on getting married in a secret New York ceremony on Valentine's Day next year.

A Goody family insider said at the time: "Since getting back together, Jade and Jack have been so happy, and have had hardly any arguments. They think they are both at a good time in their lives, and are both ready for marriage.

"It's going to be a small ceremony, with just a few select family and friends there, but obviously Jade's two sons - Bobby, four, and two-year-old Freddie - will be there. She's already trying to get into shape for the big day."

A spokesman confirmed Jade is currently in talks with a TV production company about the live wedding, but added: "It's early days at the moment."
