Emmerdale star looks up to Hepburn

11 October 2007 - Verity Rushworth, who is better known to television viewers as Donna Windsor-Dingle from Emmerdale, has said her style icon would have to be Audrey Hepburn.

In comments made to the Yorkshire Post, Rushworth said that she admired the way Hepburn was "always neat".

The dark-haired actress was talking to the publication as part of the celebrations to mark Emmerdale's 35th anniversary - which officially takes place next Tuesday.

Commenting on fashion, she told the publication: "I could do with a personal shopper sometimes though as I'm quite scatty.

"When you like something, you cannot always create an outfit out of it. I love to have someone to put things together for me."

In relation to her onscreen character, she added that due to working in a cafe and not having much money Donna "cannot always go out and buy nice clothes".

There is an hour-long special Emmerdale show on Tuesday, which yet again involves some explosive scenes.

Fireballs fly through the Sugdens' home, leaving Jack trapped inside. Viewers will be able to see how things turn out by tuning in to ITV1 at 19:00 BST.
