Emmerdale - Alex Carter´s legendary love

21 November 2007 - 'Emmerdale' star Alex Carter claims his character's sexual exploits with older women have made him a "legend".

The 25-year-old claims both men and women flock to him in admiration after watching his character Jamie Hope bed sexy soap siren Louise Appleton, played by 38-year-old Emily Symons.

Alex told Britain's Inside Soap magazine: "Jamie's affair with Louise has made me a bit of legend with 'Emmerdale' viewers.

"Blokes always come up to me now because they fancy Emily.

"And I get a bit of a nudge and a wink from a lot of older women because they think I might go for them too. They love it!"

But Alex revealed he would only go for an older woman if they were as beautiful as his co-star.

He said: "If an older lady was as fit as Emily, yeah, I'd have a crack! I hadn't really thought about it until I started this storyline. "

But he adds: "Older women have more baggage, don't they? If they've got kids it's complicated - but if it's just a bit of fun that would be fine."

Jamie and Louise are set to reignite their passionate romance this week, and Alex thinks wedding bells may even be a possibility.

He said: "I've been in the soap for seven years now so maybe it's time I had a wedding."
