Emmerdale's Emily Symons´ Matt Damon desire

23 November 2007 - Emily Symons fantasises about "sexy" movie star Matt Damon while doing the ironing.

The 'Emmerdale' actress - who plays barmaid Louise Appleton in the ITV soap - admits she gets hot under the collar whenever she sees the Hollywood heartthrob on-screen.

Emily, 38, told Britain's Soaplife magazine: "I really fancy Matt Damon. He's absolutely gorgeous, especially when he's playing secret agent Jason Bourne in the Bourne films.

"I've got 'The Bourne Identity' and 'The Bourne Supremacy' on DVD so on a rainy day I pop on one of them while I'm doing the ironing and the sexy Mr. Damon keeps me happy."

But the Australian-born actress has not always preferred macho men.

She confessed: "When I was a teenager in the early 1980s I had a big crush on Adam Ant from Adam and The Ants. I had a huge poster of him on my bedroom ceiling. He was gorgeous."

Emily also revealed she is "not really a party girl".

She said: "When I'm working I'm in bed by 9.30pm. People think it's hysterical but I love my bed - and I do have to get up at 5.30am!"
