Dancing on Ice - Natalie Pinkhan reveals all
24 January 2008 - Celebrity skater Natalie Pinkham is gutted to have been voted off Dancing on Ice.
In an interview with Digital Spy Natalie revealed what it is like to be a contestant on the hit show: "It is quite manic - you're whipped into hair and makeup and then you're whipped off here, there and everywhere.
"It does get quite tense. I've learned a lot about myself through all of this, because I've realised I enjoyed the training and hard work a lot more than the performance day.
"I loved the structure that the training brought into my life, but I did find the nerves on the performance day quite overwhelming.
"I'm used to going into big sports arenas and sticking the microphone under someone else's nose; I'm not used to the spotlight being on me to that extent.
Natalie also told Digital Spy about her last performance: "I don't think I delivered. As soon as I finished it, I knew I could have done it better.
"I'd slept really badly the night before and, as soon as I woke up on Sunday, I just felt like curling up into a little ball. I'm actually quite annoyed with myself because the whole point of being professional is that you deliver on the day even if you don't feel like it."
