Big Brother Celebrity Hijack - Sugababes sweeten up the house
28 January 2008 - The Sugababes have been unveiled as the new "hijackers" in the current series of Big Brother Celebrity Hijack.
The current line up of Amelle Berrabah, Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan stunned the participants in this year's show when they walked from their hiding place in the Diary Room into the Big Brother house.
After asking how the housemates were, the girls gave a rendition of their current single, About You Now.
"That was bizarre for us," Heidi Range said after the performance
Fellow 'babe Keisha Buchanan admitted "We've had some weird gigs before, to be honest with you."
Previous hijackers in the Big Brother house have included former All Saints stars Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt, as well as comedian Jimmy Carr and pop svengali Malcolm McLaren.
Brit award-winners the Sugababes formed in 1998 with Keisha joined by founding members Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, both of whom have had successful solo careers since their departure from the group.
In 2007, the group collaborated with Girls Aloud on a cover of Walk This Way for Comic Relief, with the single storming to number one, being the third chart-topper for Girls Aloud and the fifth for the Sugababes.
