Shayne Ward's Britney warning

15th October 2007 - Shayne Ward has warned Britney Spears to "stay out of the limelight" and get her life and career back on track

The 'X Factor' winner believes the troubled 'Toxic' singer needs to take a break and think about her pop career before it is too late.

Shane told BANG Showbiz: "Britney is great at what she does and she just really needs to go away and think about things, because the time will be right. If she leaves it for now and then comes back she will be able to come back big.

"But I do understand the frustration of wanting to come back and get everything back on track. But until she goes away from the limelight a bit - that's the only time it will happen."

The 'No, You Hang Up' singer also revealed he would like to explore different industries in the future - and would love a role in Channel 4 TV show 'Shameless'.

Shayne, 22, said: "Because I'm from Manchester, I'd love a part in 'Shameless' - that would be fantastic."
