Mel C the best Spice Girl

15th October 2007 - Mel C thinks she is the best singer in the Spice Girls.

The Liverpool-born singer - who released four albums as a solo artist after the band parted ways in 2000 - believes she is the most successful and talented member in the group.

Mel said: "It's all just personal opinion isn't it that I had the best solo career, but yes, I am the best! Sorry girls!"

Mel - who is joined by Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B in the band - also dropped some hints about the group's upcoming reunion tour.

She added to BBC Radio 1: "We have a great set list. The show has a theme and there's a storyline that runs throughout it. We had a costume meeting last night - wow! Just everything about it, we just want to blow everybody away."

Last week, it was revealed the Spice Girls are leasing a Boeing 757 for the duration of their tour.

The outside of the jet will be adorned with official Spice Girls reunion artwork, while the interior will boast a crèche and a make-up parlour.

The tour starts in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2 and they will visit a host of cities including Los Angeles, New York, Madrid and Sydney.
