Geri Halliwell reveals Spice Girls exclusive

8 October 2007 - Geri Halliwell exclusively revealed details of the Spice Girls' new single on GMTV this morning.

The ballard, called Headlines will be released on 19th November and according to Ginger Spice is "a Spice Girls classic.  It feels like taking a little bit of the past.

You feel that flavour but then it`s moving on."

"Emma and I initially worked on it with the original writers that we used to collaborate with," she revealed.  "Then the other girls chipped in later, adding lyrics.  

It's magical."  She also revealed that they had started work on the single back in the spring.  "Before we'd even got the final yes from everyone, we kind of started putting words down."

Geri also told how being a mum has "really bonded us all" and that she sings her baby daughter Bluebell to sleep with Spice Girls songs.

"I was putting her to bed last night and I was actually singing her - Mama (I love you)".
