Winehouse wins at the Mojos

Amy Winehouse added another gong to her impressive haul this year at last night's Mojo Awards in London.

At a star-studded ceremony, the newlywed songstress accepted the Song of the Year award for her track single Rehab, as well as being declared Woman of the Year.

However, the soul singer missed out on the prize for best live act, which went to Canadian band Arcade Fire, as well as losing out on the best album award, which was claimed by Damon Albarn's new band The Good, The Bad and The Queen.

New acts were not the only ones celebrated at the Mojos, however.

Post-punk masters Echo and the Bunnymen won the award for Best Maverick Act, while a lifetime achievement prize went to Iggy Pop's band The Stooges for being "the godfathers of punk".

And a final award went to Ozzy Osbourne, who was declared a Mojo Icon by readers of the magazine.

Editor-in-chief Phil Alexander said: "There are icons and there is Ozzy Osbourne. Long may he continue to reign."
