X Factor - Dannii Minogue makes a sharp Xit
3 December 2007 – Dannii Minogue stormed off during the latest X Factor edition after Louis Walsh insulted her singing talents, it has emerged.
The pop princess, who has reignited her career as a judge on the talent show, failed to return to her seat on the panel after a commercial break.
She finally came back a few minutes late, but is reportedly fuming at Louis after his verbal jab, the Sun reported.
It happened when Dannii was giving Niki Evans feedback and said she had improved following a totally out-of-tune performance the following week.
But Louis swiped back: "Dannii, singing out of tune? Ho ho!"
A source told the newspaper that tension between the two has been building up and Dannii was in tears because of what the Irish judge said.
"Louis keeps joking about Dannii's singing talents and it's really getting to her," the insider said.
However, Louis may want to watch his tongue, considering Dannii is the only mentor with two acts left in the competition.
She is still coaching Rhydian and Leon, while Louis is left with Niki and Simon only has Same Difference, following Hope's overdue departure.
