Strictly Come Dancing - Kelly Brook is not sexy says Arlene Phillips

19 November 2007 - Kelly Brook, who is famous for her beauty and curves, has been labelled as unsexy by Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips.

Currently jiving her way through the competition with Brendan Cole, Kelly is dating Hollywood hunk Billy Zane.

But in an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Arlene said Brendan and the model-actress just don't click because Kelly does not "exude sexiness".

"She is like a giggling six-year-old wrapped in a woman's body," the judge remarked. "I didn't think for a minute they would work together as a couple. And I was right - they haven't gelled."

Although Arlene, 64, said everything about Kelly's figure is "stunning", she wondered if Kelly is serious enough for Brendan, who wants a woman to inspire him.

However, they were the not the only dancers to get a blasting from the choreographer and ex-Hot Gossip star; she said Gethin Jones is not showing his true personality and Kate Garraway had absolutely no chance from day one.

Meanwhile, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing - entitled Dancing with the Stars - could see Spice Girl Melanie B crowned queen of the ballroom.

She is one of the four celebs left in the show, in addition to actress Jennie Garth, music legend Marie Osmond and racing-car driver Helio Castroneves.
