Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett has man problem

8 November 2007 - Roxanne Pallett claims women try and hide their husbands from her, in case she tries to steal them.

The 'Emmerdale' star insists she is no maneater like her character Jo Stiles, but wives still don't trust her around their men off-screen.

Roxanne told Britain's Inside Soap magazine: "I get women pulling their husbands away from me in the supermarket! They think I'm some femme fatale like Jo, it's hilarious.

"I'd never fight over a man. It'd rather go for a bottle of wine with the girls and kick the fella into touch. You shouldn't have to fight for anyone - if a person is the right one, they'll come to you."

The 25-year-old soap beauty - whose character Jo stole Andy Sugden from under his wife Katie's nose - also confessed she is not such a vamp in real life.

She said: "Anyone who thinks that I strut around the house in suspenders with a glass of champagne will be sorely disappointed. That's not me at all."
