Ralf Little predicts the death of TV
19 November 2007 - Former Royle Family star Ralf Little thinks the internet will destroy TV.
The actor - who appears in the online drama 'Kate Modern' which airs exclusively on social networking site Bebo - has predicted the end of television in its current format and thinks all actors will soon have to showcase their talents on the web to make a living.
He said: "I keep wondering whether TV is going to be redundant in the future. It seems like everything is going down the online road and nobody really knows what's going to happen. It seems this is the future, and if it is I want a job!"
'Kate Modern', which is set in London, follows the lives of a group of friends living in the UK capital.
The 'webisodes' were funded almost solely by product placement, with companies such as Microsoft, Orange and Tampax taking part.
The episodes have been a huge hit and have been watched by 25 million people.
