Pussycat Doll calls chat show ridiculous
9 November 2007 - Nicole Scherzinger has said Katie Price's chat show is the most ridiculous thing she has done to promote her album.
Nicole, who has branched out with a solo career after hitting the charts with all-girl dance troupe the Pussycat Dolls, recently appeared on Katie & Peter: Unleashed as part of her press tour.
However, the rude jokes and risque subject material made the experience not quite so enjoyable for the 29-year-old singer.
Coronation Street star Jack P Shephard, who plays David Platt, was also a guest on the show and admitted that it is different from the more traditional talk shows.
"It was a bit crude, to be fair," he said. "But I can sort of deal with that."
Meanwhile, Katie was quick to defend the ITV2 programme, which has also seen Michelle and Andy Scott-Lee appear as guests.
"We're not chat show host people anyway, so you know, we try a bit of everything," the ex-glamour model remarked. "It's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely different to what's out there."
The chat show is part of a series made by the couple, which includes Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries and Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter.
