X Factor - Leona Lewis says Simon Cowell is charming
6 November 2007 - Simon Cowell may have a new admirer in the form of X Factor winner Leona Lewis, it emerged today.
Although the acid-tongued judge is known for his perpetual suntan and high-waisted trousers, he has proved an unlikely dreamboat for many fans of the reality show.
Reigning X Factor champion Leona Lewis appears to be no exception, after telling FemaleFirst than she can see why he is so appealing to so many people.
"I get that people find him attractive because he's very charming," she said. "It's probably the power thing … he's got a lot of power."
However, 22-year-old Leona, who has just released her second single, Bleeding Love, admits that at 48, Simon is a bit too old for her. In addition, his girlfriend Terri Seymour would be less than happy if anything went on, Leona said.
She added that Simon has been "great" to her so far in her career and admitted that they have a "bond".
Leona won the third series of X Factor, beating teenage crooner Ray Quinn in the final. Her debut single, A Moment Like This, was released soon after. She has since been recording her album in the US.
