Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett's lingerie diet

14 December 2007 - Roxanne Pallett would rather buy sexy lingerie than something to eat.

The 'Emmerdale' star - who recently split from former 'Coronation Street' star Richard Fleeshman -would prefer to go hungry than to wear old underwear.

Roxanne told Britain's Soaplife magazine: "I've always loved dressing up to look sexy and I love gorgeous underwear. If it was a choice between something to eat for tea or lingerie, I'd choose lingerie every time!"

The 24-year-old soap actress also revealed people assume she is just like her 'Emmerdale' character, maneater Jo Stiles, and often try to avoid her in public.

She said: "Women always pull their husbands away from me in the supermarket. They think I'm some kind of femme fatale like Jo - it's hilarious!"

Despite rumours she is set to leave the hit ITV soap in the New Year, Roxanne insists she won't be tempted to join the cast of a hospital drama, because they make her sick!

She said: "I'm scared of hospitals and needles which means I can't watch these TV medical dramas. I tried to watch ER once but it made me want to puke!"
