Dancing on Ice - Show moves to Sunday nights
3 January 2008 - Reality TV fans planning to spend January in front of the box might want to know that Dancing on Ice is moving to Sunday nights.
In a shake-up of some soaps and programming on ITV1, it emerged that the exciting skating spectacular will now be broadcast on Sundays.
This is part of the network's aim to increase the amount of comedy, drama and entertainment shown to viewers each weekend, according to the BBC.
It is set to replace episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale which will now occupy slots on Fridays and Tuesdays respectively.
The schedule could mean fans of Dancing on Ice can enjoy a cosy night in on Sundays and look forward to the series, which is rumoured to include celebrities such as Chris Fountain and Samantha Mumba.
According to gossip blog Available for Panto, the two could be joined by other famous faces such as Gareth Gates, Suzanne Shaw and Tim Vincent.
Last year included contestants such as Duncan James, formerly of boyband Blue, alongside rugby player Kyran Bracken and actress Clare Buckfield.
