Big Brother Celebrity Hijack - Chantelle Houghton loves the show

10 January 2008 - Big Brother alumni Chantelle Houghton has admitted she rather likes the current series.

A week into the newly-designed show, viewers have sniggered as a host of mischievous celebrities hijacked the house and put the contestants through their paces.

Chantelle - who won Celebrity Big Brother back in 2006 - told ITN she is a fan of the programme this time around.

"It's nice to see all of the celebrities be Big Brother," she said. "I enjoyed watching Matt Lucas - he was good. I like Big Brother so I'm enjoying the lot of it really."

Chantelle was part of one of the funniest series of the show, which included Pete Burns, Michael Barrymore, Jodie Marsh and George Galloway.

She was placed in the house as a fake celebrity and had to try to convince the real famous faces that she was genuine.

However, things took a romantic turn when she began seeing fellow housemate Preston after the competition ended.

She married the Ordinary Boys singer in August 2006 but the couple announced their separation in June 2007, going on to divorce five months later.
