Jen's fame was too much for boyfriend

British model Paul Sculfor broke up with superstar Jennifer Aniston because he was overwhelmed by her fame, a friend has said.

Lady Victoria Hervey, who previously dated Sculfor and remains close to him, told Hello! magazine that Aniston's celebrity status overwhelmed him and made him think twice about the relationship.

"He was given the keys to her house and at one point had to spend a week without leaving it, as up to 50 paparazzi at a time were outside waiting to get a picture of the two of them together," she said.

"One minute he's living a normal life and the next he's over every magazine and television channel in America."

After splitting with Aniston, Sculfor headed home to London to reconnect with his family, she added.

The former Friends actress was introduced to the Essex-born Levi's model by best mates Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

Her last major relationship, with Dodgeball star Vince Vaughn, ended last year.
