Jennifer Lopez would never star in a film just for money
Jennifer Lopez would never star in a film just for the money.
The "Monster-In-Law" star says her sole motivation to make movies is her "love" of acting and hates being labelled "superficial".
Jennifer told Arena magazine: "I've never done anything for the money. Not even when I first started. There was something about me which wanted to sing, dance and act. I've worked hard and I've been able to do that.
"With me it?s always, ?How can I do better? What else can I do? That?s what I think about each day. Not, ?How much money can I make??
"I think my success in all those areas comes because I love what I do, and I want to do it at a level of quality people can enjoy and relate to."
The 38-year-old star hates being known only for her glitzy lifestyle and insists she has far more depth to her character than she is given credit for.
She said: "It?s not about ?bling? and fabulosity and those superficial things. It?s not all I am. I love fashion and I find it very fun - but my life is about so much more than that."
Lopez is set to star in ?Love and Other Impossible Pursuits?, a drama comedy in which she plays a woman who has a difficult relationship with her stepson.
The film is scheduled for release in 2009.
