Sir Paul to give Heather £70m
Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have finally agrees on a divorce settlement and it looks like the former model will receive £70 million of Paul's wealth.
She will get the money through a £15 million lump sum, followed by an annual payment of about £3.5 million for 14 years until their daughter, Beatrice, reaches her 18th birthday. But Paul is rumoured to be unhappy about the prospect of Heather talking to the press about the causes of their break-up, hence the staggered release of the monies.
'If she wants to update her biography, for example, she says she can't just pretend the marriage never happened,' a source told the Daily Mail.
'But she will not be able to hint at any foul play that may or not have taken place, or anything like drug taking or drinking or how either of them have, and do, interact with Beatrice. It's a very complex agreement.'
Heather is apparently desperate to cash in on her notoriety as an ex-Beatles wife and wants to bring out a book about her time with the star.
