Heather versus the Slovenians

Heather Mills may have received her estimated £10 million divorce settlement from Sir Paul McCartney but she still shows no signs of disappearing from the limelight.

Instead, Heather has been wreaking havoc in a small Slovenian village by buying a house in Ukanc. The neighbours are furious at having their tranquil habitat ruined by Heather and the celebrity pack she will supposedly encourage to visit the area.

"This is one of the last corners of Europe that is not polluted or ruined with buildings and roads. This is the greatest treasure of this place. It is sad that Slovenia is selling its beauty," said Neda Todorovic, who lives in the village.

The mayor of the town added that they don't want their home to become a second St Tropez and that it is wrong for government homes inside a national park to be bought up by foreigners.

Heather faces more vitriol as a pensioner says her family are the true owners of the property but were forced to flee it during the Second World War.
