Goodfellas star arrested under the influence
Ray Liotta, who played mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, crashed his SUV into two parked vehicles near his Pacific Palisades home whilst under the influence.
The Emmy-winning star was taken in by police before being released after posting a $15,000 bail. He must return to court to answer the charges in a month's time.
Liotta was alone in his car and luckily no-one was hurt in the incident.
He won an Emmy in 2005 for his guest role on the show ER.
Liotta's film credits include Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner, Goodfellas with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Paul Sorvino, Hannibal with Anthony Hopkins, and Blow with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
Liotta's next film Wild Hogs is due to be released on March 2nd.
It is a story of seizing the moment and hitting the freedom of the open road, although perhaps with a little more control than Ray's recent adventures.
