Bedingfield stood up by Robbie

Pop star Robbie Williams stood up fellow singer Natasha Bedingfield for a date, the 25-year-old songstress claimed.

The sister of Gotta Get Thru This singer Daniel revealed that she had been looking forward to meeting up again with Robbie after bumping into him in a record shop.

"Rob once said he would call me," she said.

"I bumped into him in an LA record shop and he asked me what hotel I was staying in."

But her hopes of romance were disappointed as she revealed: "He said he'd call, but never did."

Natasha is currently in a relationship with estate agent Matt Robinson but says she still has hopes that Robbie will make that call.

"I still think Robbie is attractive," she said. "I'd love to duet with him."

This is not the first time that the Unwritten singer has recently expressed her desire for someone other than her poor boyfriend, as she revealed she was smitten with Prince William.

Speaking before she met the prince for the first time at the Concert for Diana and rumours began that he'd sparked up his relationship with Kate Middleton again, Natasha said: "I think William is gorgeous - I've fancied him for ages. The only problem is that he's single now and I have just started dating someone.

"I should've made my move ages ago."
