EastEnders' Stacey would marry in PJs

12 November 2007 - Although her onscreen character has just said "I do", EastEnders' Lacey Turner would have a simple affair if she were to wed.

Lacey, who is 19, recently told Sunday magazine that instead of wearing a big white dress, she would happily get hitched in pyjamas and furry boots.

The actress plays Stacey Slater, who became Bradley Branning's wife even though she has cheated on him with his own dad, Max.

And for the nuptials, Stacey wore a pretty and traditional style of gown - something which Lacey was not very keen on.

"I wore that dress for 15 days and I couldn't breathe out," she said. "Getting married seems so stressy."

She also said that a big wedding would not be her type of thing, as she "hate[s] being centre of attention".

The character of Stacey, meanwhile, makes sure she is getting people's attention as much as possible.

Shortly after moving to Albert Square, Stacey charmed and blackmailed Spencer Moon, before kissing Darren Miller and making a move on his brother Mickey. However, she still seems to be hung up on Max - even though his wife Tanya is pregnant.
