Spice Girls cheer Mel B to dance victory

23 October 2007 - As part of Spice Girl Melanie Brown's attempt to win Dancing With the Stars, she recently enlisted her bandmates' help.

Footage created during a recent trip to London reveals Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton encouraging viewers to support their friend.

"Please vote because she's fab. We need her in - because then she's not with us," Emma joked to the camera.

Mel B danced the samba to the Spice Girls hit Spice Up Your Life on the October 22nd episode of the US reality dance competition and won over the judges, who awarded her a score of 29 out of 30.

This showing was a vast improvement over her previous ranking near the bottom of the list.

"I really thought I was going to cry. I was just devastated," Mel said of the preceding week's low placing, according to the Daily Mail.

"I am loving being in this competition and I am not ready to go yet," she added.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the various members of the Spice Girls have been bringing their individual problems to disrupt the set of their video shoot.
