Coronation Street's Kym Ryder loves her rock
26 October 2007 - Kym Ryder has described her husband, Jack, as her "rock".
The 'Coronation Street' star - who married 'EastEnders' actor Jack in August 2002 - says she never pretends they are the perfect couple, but they are as happy as they can be.
Kym, 31, said: "Jack is definitely my rock. He's only 26 on the outside, but inside he's much older. We're definitely not Peter and Jordan, and we aren't the perfect couple, but we are just really happy being together and being ourselves."
The former Hear'Say singer - who had to attend regular counselling sessions following her departure from Hear'Say, and subsequent public rows with bandmate Myleene Klass - also said she has never had such peace of mind.
She said: "Being settled in my home life and my career puts me at ease mentally. There comes a point in everyone's life where everything slots into place. But often it takes a while to get there." Coronation Street's
