I'm A Celebrity - Gemma Atkinson's soul desire
14 November 2007 - Jungle star Gemma Atkinson is desperate to become a soul diva.
The former 'Hollyoaks' star is set to travel to the US to record her debut single, but insists she won't be releasing a pop record because she prefers to sing "soul ballads".
Gemma told Britain's Soap Life magazine: "I'm going to Nashville to write and record the single and I'm really excited because I'm going to get to work with some really amazing people who are right at the top of their game.
"It's not going to be pop. I'm much more into soul ballads."
The busty, blonde beauty has previously displayed her singing talents on ITV reality show 'Soapstar Superstar', on which she finished fourth.
Earlier this month she beat stars such as Rihanna, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen to the title of Nuts magazine's Sexiest Pop Star.
The sexy star - who turns 23 on Friday (16.11.07) - is in Australia taking part in ITV reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here', and is currently the book-makers' favourite to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.
