I'm A Celebrity - Cerys Matthews looking forward to Marc Bannerman

4 November 2007 - Cerys Matthews "can't wait" to see her jungle lover Marc Bannerman.

The Welsh singer - who claimed to have found love with the former 'EastEnders' actor on the hit reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' - flew home to Britain yesterday (03.12.07) and justified her decision not to come home to see him earlier.

Cerys - who has two children with ex-husband Seth Riddle - said: "I can't wait to see him. When I came out of the jungle, I didn't go to any parties. I was just getting my children sorted and then we've been flying since Sunday."

Critics have claimed Cerys and Marc's relationship is a sham as they have not seen each other and are just trying to make as much money as possible before the attention dies down.

Meanwhile, Marc - who flew home to London as soon as he was voted out of the jungle - has described himself as a "rat".

The actor was in a relationship with actress Sarah Matravers before he joined the show, but she dumped him for his constant flirting with Cerys.

Marc said: "I can't look for a scapegoat. The buck stops here. I can't even bear to look at myself."
