Desperate Housewives - Jesse Metcalfe and I had tough split, says Nadine Coyle
15 November 2007 - Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle said she is good friends with Desperate Housewives' Jesse Metcalfe now, but they had a "tough" break-up.
The singer, who is currently preparing for the release of the band's next album, told Digital Spy that she has been spending time with him in Los Angeles because they are "really good friends".
But she said that Jesse, who is known for playing hunky gardener John Rowland in Desperate Housewives, was in rehab when they split up and it was difficult to deal with both personal and professional commitments.
"I was getting ready to go on tour, he had loads of things going on and it was just too hard," Nadine explained. "I wish I'd handled things differently."
The Irish blonde bombshell, who shot to fame on Popstars: The Rivals, said people thought he was cheating on her but they had actually already broken up - she just had not told anyone yet.
In related Wisteria Lane-themed news, it has been reported that Nicolette Sheridan - who played scheming Edie on Desperate Housewives - is pregnant.
A source said: "She's absolutely glowing and her pregnancy is the buzz of the set."
