Blair's not bovvered
Tony Blair has had a Downing Street showdown with a mouthy schoolgirl after she was sent for work experience at No 10.
Unfortunately, the PM was just filming a sketch for Comic Relief with comedienne Catherine Tate as her "Am I bovvered?" creation Lauren.
Mr Blair said the meeting had been an experience and added: "She didn't seem 'bovvered' by anything but I hope she will put her time spent at No 10 to good use."
Details of the sketch have not been released before its showing on the Red Nose Day telethon, but an insider told the Daily Mirror: "It's fair to say Lauren doesn't show the respect normally reserved for a serving prime minister.
"She arrives late and constantly spouts off. Tony seems a bit bemused by it all but was a great sport by taking part."
The sketch will form part of the seven-hour marathon phone-in session to raise money for the anti-poverty charity, which will also include the final appearance of Dawn French's Vicar of Dibley.
