Katie Holmes loves being romanced by her husband Tom Cruise. As a youngster she never received flowers on Valentine's Day.

Generous Katie decided to treat her girlfriends on Valentine's Day instead of letting it get her down.

Katie revealed all in a chat with New!magazine,
"I like making a big deal out of a lot of things, so yes, I like to have a whole day of romance."

The star of Mad Money likes "surprises and ..sending Valentine's cards."
Katie added,
"I went to an all-girls high school and every Valentine's Day they would announce who had flowers waiting in the office. I got very used to the importance of giving other women Valentines because my name was never called - never! And I didn't have any money to send them to myself!"

Katie must surely be hoping for a very romantic Valentine's Day with Tom Cruise this year.

Will she be sending daughter Suri her very first Valentine's card? We will just have to wait and see...
