David Beckham

Beckham gets broody

David Beckham has expressed his desire to have more children.

Speaking to LA radio disc jockey Ryan Seacrest, the LA Galaxy footballer said that he and wife Victoria would like to have as many as five kids together.

"When we first met, we never even spoke about how many kids we wanted," he remarked.

"It was just lucky that we both actually wanted around the same number. We both want four or five kids - we're very family-orientated."

Beckham, who already has three sons - eight-year-old Brooklyn, five-year-old Romeo and two-year-old Cruz - mentioned that he and Victoria are hoping for a girl this time.

He added that he will be trying some unusual methods towards this end, such as "changing my diet and wearing tight pants".

The 32-year-old midfielder has been relegated to the sidelines for up to six weeks due to a knee ligament strain.
