Amanda Holden's greasy nipples

11 December 2007 - Amanda Holden will grease her nipples before she runs the London Marathon.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge, who is set to run 26 miles to raise money for animal charity The Born Free Foundation, doesn't want her breasts to chafe.

Amanda, 36, said: "I will be wearing a sports bra with lots of Vaseline on my nipples to stop them getting sore. Apparently that's what you have to do.

"But I won't be like Jade Goody, I am actually training and doing it properly."

The 'Wild At Heart' actress, who is currently averaging a ten-minute mile, is determined to beat Katie Holmes' time in the New York Marathon.

Amanda added to BANG Showbiz: "When I first said I'd do it I thought I'd run the first 13 miles, have a pub lunch and then walk the rest, because I'm doing it with my mum.

"But now I'm getting quite competitive and I think Katie Holmes did it in five and a half hours, so I'm aiming to five because I'd quite like to beat her. I'm not sure why, I think it's because she's another actress who has run a marathon. So I'll be happy with five hours."
